Andreas Harstad (Oslo, NOR) lost 4-1 to Fredrik Nyman (Solleftea, SWE) in the Final of the Tallinn Mens International Challenger, held September 26 - 29, 2024 at the Tondiraba Ice Hall in Tallinn, Estonia. To advance to the championship game, Harstad won 8-3 over Norway's Lukas Hostmaelingen in the semifinals of the 2024 Tallinn Mens International Challenger in Tallinn, Estonia, Estonia; and won 9-2 over Sergio Vez (San Sebastian, ESP) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 Tallinn Mens International Challenger in Tallinn, Estonia, Estonia;
 
Harstad finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Harstad defeated Eduard Nikolov (Kyiv, UKR) 7-6, then went on to lose 5-0 against Nyman. Harstad responded with a 7-2 win over Switzerland's Gian Wildhaber. Harstad won 6-3 against Axel Landelius (Mjolby, SWE), then won 8-1 against Martins Truksans (Riga, LAT) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Tallinn Mens International Challenger, Harstad take home 11.000 world rankings points along with the $1,356CDN prize. For week 9 of the event schedule, Harstad did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Harstad ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
