Westerberg finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Westerberg defeated Kristaps Zass (Riga, LAT) 6-4, then went on to lose 6-1 against Norway's Lukas Hostmaelingen. Westerberg responded with a 7-1 win over Eduard Veltsman (Tallinn, EST). Westerberg won 10-3 against Andrin Schnider (Limmattal, SUI), then won 4-3 against Jacob Schmidt (Hvidovre, DEN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Westerberg earned 6.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Tallinn Mens International Challenger. For week 9 of the event schedule, Westerberg did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Westerberg ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
