Ueno went on to lose 10-4 against Sayaka Yoshimura (Sapporo, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Ueno earned 4.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 23rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 1.125 after improving upon their best so far this season.
