After advancing directly to the championship game, Sarah Boland (St. John's, NL) lost 8-5 to Brooke Godsland (St. John's, NL) in the Final of the Rick Rowsell Classic, held December 12 - 15, 2024 at the Remax Centre in St. John's, .   
 
Boland finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Boland defeated Godsland 6-5, then won 6-5 against Megan Blandford (St. John's, NL) and 7-6 against Wendy Dunne (St. John's, NL). Boland won 8-3 against Stacie Curtis (St John's, NL). Boland went on to lose 6-5 against Cailey Locke (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Rick Rowsell Classic, Boland take home 2.750 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize, moving up 57 spots the World Ranking Standings into 186th place overall with 3.594 total points. Boland ranks 170th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.750 points earned so far this season.
