Seungyoun Ha (Chuncheon, KOR) lost 6-5 to Eun ji Gim (Gyeonggido, KOR) in the Final of the Korean National Curling Championship, held June 9 - 17, 2024 in Gangneung, Korea.
Ha finished 6-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ha lost 6-5 to Gim, then responded with a 11-3 win over Korea's Gyuri Kim. Ha won 8-3 against Youbeen Park (Seoul, KOR), then won 8-2 against Hanbyul Park (Gyeongbuk, KOR) and 7-3 against Bobae Kang (Jeonbuk, KOR). Ha won 6-3 against Eunjung Kim (Gangneung, KOR), then won 6-2 against Suhyeon Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Ha went on to lose 0-0 against Kim in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Korean National Curling Championship, Ha take home 30.250 world rankings points. For week 1 of the event schedule, Ha did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Ha ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
