Kristen MacDiarmid (Halifax , NS) lost 8-4 to Sylvie Quillian (Moncton, NB) in the Final of the Superstore Lady Monctonian, held October 4 - 6, 2024 at the Curl Moncton in Moncton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, MacDiarmid won 6-5 over Tanya Hilliard (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2024 Superstore Lady Monctonian in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada;
 
MacDiarmid finished 3-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacDiarmid defeated Cassidy Blades (Halifax, NS) 8-5, then won 7-2 against Nicole Arsenault-Bishop (Moncton, NB) and 9-8 against Mary Myketyn-Driscoll (Halifax, NS). MacDiarmid went on to lose 8-2 against Quillian in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Superstore Lady Monctonian, MacDiarmid take home 5.500 world rankings points along with the $1,600CDN prize. For week 10 of the event schedule, MacDiarmid did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. MacDiarmid ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
