To advance to the championship game, Gill/Hewitt won 5-4 over Megan Smith/Doug Thomson (Newmarket, ON) in the semifinals of the 2025 JAMAICA CUP Mixed Doubles Cashspiel in Dundas, Ontario, Canada; and won 6-2 over Riley Sandham/Brendan Craig (Guelph, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2025 JAMAICA CUP Mixed Doubles Cashspiel in Dundas, Ontario, Canada;
 
Gill/Hewitt finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gill/Hewitt defeated Pam Feldkamp/Damien Villard (Cambridge, ON) 8-3, then won 4-2 against Michelle Roach/Adam Gilbert (Burlington, ON) and 9-3 against Jessica Humphries/Spencer Maves (Niagara Falls, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the JAMAICA CUP Mixed Doubles Cashspiel Championship title, Gill/Hewitt earned 22.500 world rankings points along with the $1,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 25 of the event schedule, Gill/Hewitt did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 3rd place on the World Ranking Standings with 144.476 total points. Gill/Hewitt ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 127.500 points earned so far this season.
