Tessier won 7-4 against Mark Clarke (Dalmeny, SK). Tessier went on to lose 6-2 against Randy Bryden (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Tessier earned 1.125 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 14 of the event schedule, Tessier did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Tessier ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
