Yanagisawa finished 3-0 in the 19-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Yanagisawa defeated Evan MacDougall (Guelph, ON) 6-2, then won 7-2 against Jordan Chandler (Collingwood, ON) and 6-2 against King in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the KW Fall Classic, Yanagisawa take home 16.500 world rankings points along with the $2,750CDN prize.
