Megan Stopera (Wayland, MA) lost 6-4 to Allory Johnson (Blaine, MN) in the Final of the USA Curling Junior National Championships, held April 1 - 6, 2025 at the Bowling Green Curling Club in Bowling Green, United States.
 
Stopera finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stopera defeated Johnson 5-4, then went on to lose 7-4 against Nia Berg (Bemidji, MN). Stopera responded with a 8-3 win over Kenna Ponzio (Chaska, MN). Stopera won 9-1 against Bella Hagenbuch (Utica, IL), then won 6-5 against Julia Pekowitz (Wayland, MA) and 10-3 against Jersey Hollands (Bowling Green, OH). Stopera won 5-4 against Lily Rokke (Fargo, ND) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the USA Curling Junior National Championships, Stopera take home 2.750 world rankings points. For week 36 of the event schedule, Stopera did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 228th to 229th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 1.313 total points. Stopera ranks 229th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.313 points earned so far this season.
