Sussman lost 9-4 to Adam Miller (Chicago, IL) where Sussman responded with a 6-4 win over Bill Grzybowski (Bridgewater, NJ). Sussman went on to lose 8-1 against Andy Hawthorne (Valley View, OH) in their final qualifying round match.
