To advance to the championship game, Grassie won 7-0 over Kelly Marnoch (Carberry, MB) in the semifinals of the 2025 Viterra Berth Bonspiel in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, Canada;
 
Grassie finished 2-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Grassie defeated Marcus Titchkosky (Morden, MB) 10-1, then won 7-6 against Marnoch in their final qualifying round match.
