Moores/Wheeler went on to lose 9-6 against Taylor Anderson/Ben Richardson (Chaska, MN). Moores/Wheeler responded with a 5-3 win over Kim Rhyme/Jason Smith (St. Paul, MN). Moores/Wheeler won 8-2 against Vicky Persinger/Daniel Casper (Fairbanks, AK), then won 9-7 against Delaney Strouse/Mark Fenner (Traverse City, MI) in their final qualifying round match.
