Clare Moores/Lance Wheeler (Golden, CO) finished 7-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Moores/Wheeler lost 9-5 to Madison Bear/Aidan Oldenburg (Chaska, MN), then responded with a 10-9 win over Sarah Anderson/Andrew Stopera (Chaska, MN). Moores/Wheeler won 9-2 against Cora Farrell/Coleman Thurston (Chaska, MN), then won 8-3 against Lexi Daly/Luc Violette (Duluth, MN) and 6-5 against Anne O'Hara/Samuel Strouse (Fairbanks, AK). Moores/Wheeler went on to lose 9-6 against Taylor Anderson/Ben Richardson (Chaska, MN). Moores/Wheeler responded with a 5-3 win over Kim Rhyme/Jason Smith (St. Paul, MN). Moores/Wheeler won 8-2 against Vicky Persinger/Daniel Casper (Fairbanks, AK), then won 9-7 against Delaney Strouse/Mark Fenner (Traverse City, MI) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the USA Curling Mixed Doubles Olympic Pre-Trials, Moores/Wheeler take home 12.500 world rankings points. For week 2 of the event schedule, Moores/Wheeler did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Moores/Wheeler ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
