Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC) won 10-7 over Kayla MacMillan (Victoria, BC) in the Final of the BC Women's Curling Championships, Presented by Best Western, held January 20 - 25, 2025 at the George Preston Recreation Centre in Langley Twp, Canada.
 
Brown finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown defeated Steph Jackson-Baier (Victoria, BC) 9-4, then won 12-4 against Holly Hafeli (Kamloops, BC) and 8-2 against Dailene Pewarchuk (Victoria, BC). Brown won 8-6 against Taylor Reese-Hansen (Victoria, BC), then won 8-6 against Kristen Ryan (Maple Ridge, BC) and 7-5 against Sarah Wark (Abbotsford, BC). Brown went on to lose 8-7 against MacMillan in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the BC Women's Curling Championships, Presented by Best Western Championship title, Brown earned 15.000 world rankings points. Brown move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 9.75 points improving upon their best 7 results so far this season, ranking 24th overall with 144.594 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Brown ranks 25th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 110.438 points earned so far this season.
