To advance to the championship game, de Jong won 8-5 over Jared Kolomaya (Richmond, BC) in the semifinals of the 2025 BC Men's Curling Championships, Presented by Best Western in Langley Twp, British Columbia, Canada;
de Jong finished 4-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, de Jong defeated Connor Deane (New Westminster, BC) 6-1, then went on to lose 8-5 against Kolomaya. de Jong responded with a 9-2 win over Brad Thompson (Kamloops, BC). de Jong went on to lose 7-3 against Deane. de Jong responded with a 10-7 win over Jay Wakefield (New Westminster, BC) to advance to the C-Qualifier where they 6-5 against Jason Montgomery (Victoria, BC) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
