CHAMPION: Tiuliakova/Totzek Wins 2024 Mixed Doubles Prague Open

Vera Tiuliakova/Sixten Totzek (Fuessen, GER) won 6-1 over Aneta Lipinska/Konrad Stych (Lodz, POL) in the Final of the Mixed Doubles Prague Open, held September 5 - 8, 2024 in Prague, Czechia. To advance to the championship game, Tiuliakova/Totzek won 9-3 over Tiina Suuripaa/Markus Sipila (Hyvinkaa, FIN) in the semifinals of the 2024 Mixed Doubles Prague Open in Prague, Czechia; and won 8-2 over Oihane Otaegi/Mikel Unanue (San Sebastian, ESP) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 Mixed Doubles Prague Open in Prague, Czechia;

Tiuliakova/Totzek finished 2-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tiuliakova/Totzek lost 9-4 to Linda Joo/Raul Karasz (Budapest, HUN), droppimg another game, 8-7 to Klara Cihlarova/Tomas Macek (Prague, CZE) where Tiuliakova/Totzek responded with a 10-6 win over Susanna Santti/Iikko Santti (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Tiuliakova/Totzek won 7-1 against Zuzana Paulova/Tomas Paul (Prague, CZE) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Mixed Doubles Prague Open Championship title, Tiuliakova/Totzek earned 11.250 world rankings points along with the $1,652CDN first prize cheque. For week 6 of the event schedule, Tiuliakova/Totzek did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
