To advance to the championship game, Nilsson/Olofsson won 7-4 over Emma Erzsebet Szurmay/Bajan Kan Ferenci (Budapest, HUN) in the semifinals of the 2024 WCT Austrian Mixed Doubles Cup in Kitzbuehel, Austria; and won 12-6 over Katrina Gaidule/Roberts Buncis (Riga, LAT) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 WCT Austrian Mixed Doubles Cup in Kitzbuehel, Austria;
 
Nilsson/Olofsson finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Nilsson/Olofsson lost 11-10 to Scalesse/Pimpini, then responded with a 11-1 win over Radka Adamkova/Filip Adamek (Brno, CZE). Nilsson/Olofsson won 8-3 against Anett Kiss/David Keri (Budapest, HUN) in their final qualifying round match.
