Ania Bacali/Tudor Pop (Bucharest, ROU) finished 2-4 in the 9-team qualifying round. . Bacali/Pop lost 10-1 to Kseniya Shevchuk/Aurelien Fasano (Mulhouse, FRA) where Bacali/Pop responded with a 7-5 win over Sorana Pop/Toma Matei Felecan (Bucharest, ROU). Bacali/Pop won 7-3 against Pop/Felecan. Bacali/Pop went on to lose 8-0 against Veerle Geerinckx/Dirk Heylen (Zemst, BEL) in their final qualifying round match.

Bacali/Pop earned 0.375 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 36 of the event schedule, Bacali/Pop did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Bacali/Pop ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
