Madeleine Dupont (Hvidovre, DEN) finished 6-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dupont defeated Moa Dryburgh (Sundbyberg , SWE) 6-5, then won 8-1 against Virginija Paulauskaite (Vilnius, LTU) and 9-3 against Verena Pfluegler (Kitzbuehel, AUT). Dupont went on to lose 5-3 against Liisa Turmann (Tallinn, EST). Dupont responded with a 6-2 win over Corrie Huerlimann (Zug, SUI). Dupont won 7-6 against Dryburgh, then won 4-3 against Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Sundbyberg Open Championship title, Dupont earned 18.750 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 13 of the event schedule, Dupont did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Dupont ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
