Jacob Schmidt (Hvidovre, DEN) finished 4-3 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schmidt lost 5-4 to Axel Landelius (Mjolby, SWE), then responded with a 5-4 win over Vilmer Nygren (Harnosand, SWE). Schmidt went on to lose 8-7 against Sweden's Jordan Wahlin. Schmidt responded with a 8-5 win over Johan Nygren (Umea, SWE). Schmidt won 8-5 against Nygren, then won 5-4 against Mats Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE). Schmidt went on to lose 4-3 against Landelius in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Sundbyberg Open, Schmidt take home 2.750 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize. For week 13 of the event schedule, Schmidt did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Schmidt ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
