Cameron Bryce (Norder, SCO) finished 3-0 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bryce defeated P.N. Raju (Hyderabad, IN) 7-0, then won 7-4 against Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED) and 7-0 against Mathias Genner (Kitzbuehel, AUT) in their final qualifying round match.

The berth into the first round of the Sun City Cup playoffs earned Bryce 4.500 world rankings points. For week 30 of the event schedule, Bryce did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 33rd to 35th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 93.688 total points. Bryce ranks 35th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 93.688 points earned so far this season.
