Kendal Thompson (Halifax, NS) won 7-3 over Brent MacDougall (Halifax, NS) in the Final of the PEI Brewing Company Cashspiel, held November 15 - 17, 2024 at the Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club in Summerside, Canada. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Thompson won 4-1 over Calan MacIssac (Halifax, NS) to advance to the championship game. of the 2024 PEI Brewing Company Cashspiel in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada; of the 2024 PEI Brewing Company Cashspiel in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada;

Thompson finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Thompson defeated Darren Higgins (Summerside, PEI) 10-5, then won 10-2 against Jamie Newson (Crapaud, PEI) and 6-3 against New Brunswick's Zack Eldridge in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the PEI Brewing Company Cashspiel Championship title, Thompson earned 3.750 world rankings points along with the $1,600CDN first prize cheque. For week 16 of the event schedule, Thompson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Thompson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
