Peter Hlushak (Spruce Grove, AB) won 5-4 over Zach Davies (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Leduc Lions U20 Bonspiel, held October 4 - 6, 2024 at the Leduc Curling Club in Leduc, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Hlushak won 6-2 over Kolby MacDonald (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals
 
Hlushak finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hlushak defeated Caleb Hofstra (Leduc, AB) 6-5, then won 8-2 against Davies and 8-2 against Kieran Channon (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Hlushak ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
