In their opening game, Warkentin defeated Dylan Johnston (Thunder Bay, NO) 5-4, then won 4-3 against Denis Malette (Thunder Bay, ON) and 6-5 against Al Hackner (Thunder Bay, ON). Warkentin won 8-4 against Ben Mikkelsen (Thunder Bay, ON), then won 6-3 against Rob Skinner (Thunder Bay, ON). Warkentin went on to lose 5-4 against Gary Weiss (Thunder Bay, ON). Warkentin responded with a 7-2 win over Ashley Palmer (Thunder Bay, ON). Warkentin won 8-2 against Myles Stevens (Thunder Bay, ON), then won 5-2 against Bryan Burgess (Thunder Bay, ON) and 9-3 against Robyn Despins (Thunder Bay, ON). Warkentin won 5-4 against Brian Adams Jr. (Thunder Bay, ON), then won 6-1 against Chris Silver (Thunder Bay, ON) and 9-4 against Andrew Sinclair (Thunder Bay, ON). Warkentin won 7-4 against Ron Rosengren (Thunder Bay, ON). Warkentin went on to lose 6-2 against Trevor Bonot (Thunder Bay, NO). Warkentin responded with a 9-1 win over Claire Dubinsky (Thunder Bay, ON). Warkentin won 8-6 against McCarville in their final qualifying round match.
 
Warkentin earned 1.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the TBayTel Major League of Curling. For week 27 of the event schedule, Warkentin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Warkentin ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
