Marianne Roervik (Lillehammer, NOR) qualified for the 2025 Gangneung Invitational 2025 playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-2 against Eunjung Kim (Gangneung, KOR).

Roervik finished 2-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Roervik defeated Dilsat Yildiz (Erzurum, TUR) 7-5, then won 5-2 against Youbeen Park (Seoul, KOR). Roervik went on to lose 10-3 against Ikue Kitazawa (Nagano, JPN). Roervik lost 7-6 to Seungyoun Ha (Chuncheon, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Roervik earned 16.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Gangneung Invitational 2025. Roervik move up 4 spots after posting a net gain of 13.875 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 32nd overall with 93.875 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
