Jessica Zheng/Victor Pietrangelo (Niagara Falls, ON) won 6-5 over Jamie Smith/Wyatt Small (Waterloo, ON) in the Final of the FISU Mixed Doubles Qualifier, held October 18 - 21, 2024 at the Saville Community Sports Centre in Edmonton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Zheng/Pietrangelo won 9-3 over Kayleigh Shannon/Rhett Whittmire (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2024 FISU Mixed Doubles Qualifier in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada;
 
Zheng/Pietrangelo finished 5-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Zheng/Pietrangelo defeated Melissa Remeshylo/Dylan Derksen (Martensville, SK) 8-1, then won 12-1 against Piper Croisier/Ian Deschene (Sudbury, ON) and 10-1 against Carly A Smith/Loris Elliott (Saint John, NB). Zheng/Pietrangelo won 6-5 against Maria Fitzgerald/Caelan McPherson (Halifax, NS), then won 8-4 against Tori Zemmelink/Kibo Mulima (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
