Kayleigh Shannon/Rhett Whittmire (Calgary, AB) run at the 2024 FISU Mixed Doubles Qualifier came to an end in the semifinals with a 9-3 loss to Jessica Zheng/Victor Pietrangelo (Niagara Falls, ON). of the 2024 FISU Mixed Doubles Qualifier in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada;
 
Shannon/Whittmire finished 4-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Shannon/Whittmire defeated Tori Zemmelink/Kibo Mulima (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) 10-6, then went on to lose 9-2 against Abby Whitbread/Ben Kiist (Calgary, AB). Shannon/Whittmire responded with a 10-9 win over Mackenzie Arbuckle/Aaron Macdonell (Winnipeg, MB). Shannon/Whittmire won 10-6 against Sydney Howatt/Liam Kelly (Cornwall, PEI), then won 10-4 against Gracelyn Richards/Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Shannon/Whittmire ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
