Jacob Schmidt (Hvidovre, DEN) won 5-2 over Konrad Stych (Walbrzych, POL) in the Final of the Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships, held November 16 - 23, 2024 at the Murray Arena in Okotoks, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Schmidt won 10-2 over Sergio Vez (San Sebastian, ESP) in the semifinals of the 2025 Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships in Okotoks, Alberta, Canada; Jacob Schmidt (Hvidovre, DEN) qualified for the 2025 Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 0-0 against Timothy Verreycken (Zemst, BEL). of the 2025 Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships in Okotoks, Alberta, Canada;
 
Schmidt finished 6-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schmidt defeated Eddy Mercier (Megeve, FRA) 5-4, then won 8-5 against Stych and 11-2 against Reto Seiler (Sofia, BUL). Schmidt won 9-7 against Matias Hanninen (Hyvinkaa, FIN), then won 6-4 against Eduard Veltsman (Tallinn, EST) and 11-2 against James Pougher (Hawarden, WAL). Schmidt went on to lose 8-6 against Ireland's John Wilson in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships Championship title, Schmidt earned 7.500 world rankings points. For week 17 of the event schedule, Schmidt did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Schmidt ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
