To advance to the championship game, Maksymetz won 4-1 over Siobhan McGriskin (Grande Prairie, AB) in the semifinals of the 2024 Mile Zero Challenge in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Canada; and won 8-3 over Robert Coates (Dawson Creek, BC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 Mile Zero Challenge in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Maksymetz finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Maksymetz defeated Glen Godberson (Fort St. John, BC) 9-1, then won 6-2 against Curtis Clampitt (Grande Prairie, AB) and 7-1 against Coates in their final qualifying round match.
