Tremblay finished 2-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tremblay lost 9-2 to Frederic Lawton (Baie d'Urfe, QC), then responded with a 8-0 win over Maxim Charbonneau (Laval-sur-la-lac, QC). Tremblay won 5-4 against Wise in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Finale du Circuit, Tremblay take home 2.750 world rankings points along with the $1,750CDN prize.
