Hoesli won 8-7 against Kim Schwaller (Oberwallis, SUI), then won 8-4 against Michael Brunner (Bern, SUI) and 8-4 against Schwaller in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Swiss Curling Championships, Hoesli take home 35.750 world rankings points, remaining in 9th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 14.75 after improving upon their best so far this season.
