Nolan Duncan (Calgary/Sexsmith/Rocky Mountain House, AB) run at the 2025 Alberta Optimist U18 Boys Provincial Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-1 loss to Austin Hennig (Edmonton, AB). of the 2025 Alberta Optimist U18 Boys Provincial Championship in Leduc, Alberta, Canada;
 
Duncan finished 4-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Duncan lost 7-5 to Kesler Bachek (Okotoks, AB), droppimg another game, 7-4 to Hennig where Duncan responded with a 6-2 win over Evan Clark (Calgary, AB). Duncan went on to lose 5-3 against Peter Hlushak (Edmonton/Sherwood Park, AB). Duncan responded with a 11-4 win over Ryker Miller (Medicine Hat, AB). Duncan won 4-3 against Caleb Hofstra (Leduc, AB), then won 8-2 against Nathan Schoenhardt (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Duncan ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
