Duncan went on to lose 5-3 against Peter Hlushak (Edmonton/Sherwood Park, AB). Duncan responded with a 11-4 win over Ryker Miller (Medicine Hat, AB). Duncan won 4-3 against Caleb Hofstra (Leduc, AB), then won 8-2 against Nathan Schoenhardt (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
