Hlushak finished 6-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hlushak defeated Hennig 9-1, then went on to lose 10-2 against Kesler Bachek (Okotoks, AB). Hlushak responded with a 7-0 win over Ryker Miller (Medicine Hat, AB). Hlushak won 5-3 against Nolan Duncan (Calgary/Sexsmith/Rocky Mountain House, AB), then won 7-2 against Evan Clark (Calgary, AB) and 5-1 against Nathan Schoenhardt (Edmonton, AB). Hlushak won 9-2 against Caleb Hofstra (Leduc, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Hlushak ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
