Dylan Derksen (Saskatoon, SK) won 6-4 over Kolby MacDonald (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the AJCT Ponoka U20 Mens Spiel, held January 10 - 12, 2025 at the Ponoka Curling Club in Ponoka, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Derksen won 4-3 over Kieran Channon (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2025 AJCT Ponoka U20 Mens Spiel in Ponoka, Alberta, Canada;
 
Derksen finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Derksen defeated Rhett Mailloux (Kingman, AB) 7-2, then won 9-5 against Channon. Derksen went on to lose 6-3 against MacDonald in their final qualifying round match.
