Channon finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Channon defeated Kolby MacDonald (Edmonton, AB) 8-4, then went on to lose 9-5 against Derksen. Channon responded with a 5-3 win over Rhett Mailloux (Kingman, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
