Kim Sutor (Muenchen, GER) lost 10-8 to Robyn Munro (Glasgow, GBR) in the Final of the FISU World University Games, held January 11 - 14, 2025 in Turin, Italy. To advance to the championship game, Sutor won 7-5 over Jessica Zheng (Niagara Falls, CAN) in the semifinals

Sutor finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sutor defeated Giulia Zardini Lacedelli (Roma, ITA) 6-5, then won 7-4 against Yui Ozeki (Tokyo, JPN) and 10-4 against Munro. Sutor went on to lose 6-4 against Eilin Kjaerland (Lillehammer, NOR). Sutor responded with a 8-3 win over Sara Olson (Duluth, USA). Sutor won 10-5 against Nadine Baertschiger (Solothurn, SUI). Sutor went on to lose 9-4 against Zheng in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the FISU World University Games, Sutor take home 8.250 world rankings points. For week 25 of the event schedule, Sutor did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sutor ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
