Yui Ozeki/Ryo Aoki (Tokyo, JPN) finished 3-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . Ozeki/Aoki went on to lose 7-3 against Tori Koana/Go Aoki (Yamanasshi, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Ozeki/Aoki earned 3.938 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 19 of the event schedule, Ozeki/Aoki did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
