Cameron Bryce (Norder, SCO) finished 5-3 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bryce lost 9-8 to Orrin Carson (Stirling, SCO), then responded with a 8-6 win over Scotland's Arran Thomson. Bryce won 9-1 against Kyle Waddell (Stirling, SCO). Bryce went on to lose 8-7 against James Craik (Stirling, SCO). Bryce lost 10-4 to Ross Whyte (Stirling, SCO) where Bryce responded with a 7-5 win over Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO). Bryce won 7-2 against Gavin Cameron (Moray, SCO), then won 7-2 against Ross Craik (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
