To advance to the championship game, Westerberg won 11-4 over Fredrik Nyman (Solleftea, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2025 Swedish Curling Championships in ; and won 6-5 over Johan Nygren (Umea, SWE) in the quarterfinals. of the 2025 Swedish Curling Championships in ;
Westerberg finished 3-2 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Westerberg defeated Johan Hedin (Sundbyberg, SWE) 7-5, then went on to lose 8-3 against Axel Landelius (Mjolby, SWE). Westerberg lost 6-5 to Emil Markusson (Ostersund, SWE) where Westerberg responded with a 5-2 win over Bengt Nilsson (Goteborg, SWE). Westerberg won 5-3 against Jordan Wahlin (Linkoeping, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Swedish Curling Championships Championship title, Westerberg earned 11.250 world rankings points. Westerberg move up 26 spots after posting a net gain of 7.031 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 76th overall with 31.375 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
