Paige Bown/Jacob Clarke (Navan, ON) finished 3-1 in the 32-team qualifying round. . Bown/Clarke went on to lose 8-6 against Zoe Cinnamon/Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB). Bown/Clarke responded with a 8-7 win over Amy Franchuk/Seth Taylor (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Bown/Clarke earned 1.125 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 40 of the event schedule, Bown/Clarke did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
