Nakajima/Yamamoto finished 4-0 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Nakajima/Yamamoto defeated Ema Kavcic/Javor Brin Zelinka (Ljubljana, SLO) 10-4, then won 9-3 against Sophia Ryhorchuk/Ronan Peterson (Edmonton, AB) and 12-0 against Australia's Holly Douglas/Charlie Ryan. Nakajima/Yamamoto won 12-3 against Australia's Marcy Forge/Thomas Bence in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the World Open U25 Mixed Doubles Curling Championship, Nakajima/Yamamoto take home 5.500 world rankings points.
