To advance to the championship game, Nakajima/Yamamoto won 10-8 over Emma Yarmuch/Lucas Sawiak (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2025 World Open U25 Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; and won 9-4 over Mackenzie Arbuckle/Aaron Macdonell (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2025 World Open U25 Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada;
