CHAMPION: Grande Wins 2025 Booster Juice World Junior Mixed Doubles Curling Championship

Lucrezia Grande (Trentino, ITA) won 8-2 over Katrine Schmidt (Hvidovre, DEN) in the Final of the Booster Juice World Junior Mixed Doubles Curling Championship, held May 6 - 11, 2025 at the Saville Community Sports Centre in Edmonton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Grande won 9-1 over Bobae Kang (Jeonbuk, KOR) in the semifinals of the 2025 Booster Juice World Junior Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; and won 8-1 over Heidi Holt (Bismarck, USA) in the quarterfinals.

Grande finished 6-0 in the 29-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Grande defeated Julia Jawien (Lodz, POL) 12-2, then won 8-7 against Moa Dryburgh (Stockholm, SWE) and 13-1 against Ka Chan (China, HKG). Grande won 11-2 against Ellie McKenzie (Naseby, NZL), then won 8-3 against Sofie Krupickova (Prague, CZE) and 11-10 against Nora Oestgaard (Oslo, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Booster Juice World Junior Mixed Doubles Curling Championship Championship title, Grande earned 3.750 world rankings points. For week 41 of the event schedule, Grande did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Grande ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
