Mikoto Nakajima (Karuizawa, JPN) finished 5-2 in the 29-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Nakajima defeated Ema Kavcic (Ljubljana, SLO) 10-3, then went on to lose 8-5 against Katrine Schmidt (Hvidovre, DEN). Nakajima lost 8-5 to Sara Messenzehl (Fuessen, GER) where Nakajima responded with a 8-5 win over Katrina Gaidule (Riga, LAT). Nakajima won 6-5 against Paula Olivan (San Sebastian, ESP), then won 18-2 against Sheila Daniel (Accra, NGR) and 17-0 against Kyra Sheri Kemu (Nairobi, KEN) in their final qualifying round match.

Nakajima earned 0.938 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 41 of the event schedule, Nakajima did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Nakajima ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
