Kerri Einarson (Gimli, MB) lost 6-1 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, held February 14 - 23, 2025 in Thunder Bay, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Einarson won 9-8 over Christina Black (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2025 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Thunder Bay, Ontario;
Einarson finished 6-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Einarson defeated Brooke Godsland (St. John's, NL) 6-4, then won 10-2 against Bayly Scoffin (Whitehorse, YK). Einarson went on to lose 9-6 against Laurie St-Georges (Montreal, QC). Einarson lost 9-6 to Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT) where Einarson responded with a 10-9 win over Kate Cameron (St. Adolphe, MB). Einarson won 9-6 against Black, then won 8-6 against Danielle Inglis (Ottawa, ON) and 9-6 against Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Einarson take home 46.750 world rankings points, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 4th place overall with 300.750 total points. Einarson ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 300.750 points earned so far this season.
