Xu went on to lose 10-3 against Lukas Klima (Prague, CZE). Xu lost 8-2 to Jacobs. Xu lost 7-6 to Tsuyoshi Yamaguchi (Karuizawa, JPN) where Xu responded with a 10-1 win over Hyojun Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Xu won 9-2 against Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
