Ling-Yue Hung (Hong Kong, HKG) qualified for the 2025 Asian Winter Games playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 11-4 against Kyeongae Kim (Gangneung, KOR). of the 2025 Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China;
 
Hung finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hung defeated Amanda Chou (Keelung/Chiayi Taiwan, TPE) 9-8, then went on to lose 9-3 against Tori Koana (Yamanasshi, JPN). Hung responded with a 11-2 win over Kuwait's Fatema Abdulateef. Hung won 14-5 against Thailand's Chanatip Sonkham, then won 9-2 against Mongolia's Enkhzaya Ganbat in their final qualifying round match.
