To advance to the championship game, Gim won 10-2 over Tilsimay Alliyarova (Almaty, KAZ) in the semifinals of the 2025 Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China;
 
Gim finished 8-0 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gim defeated Ko Yang (Taipei City, TPE) 11-0, then won 6-4 against Yuina Miura (Nayoro, JPN) and 14-0 against Phichayathida Jaosap (Bangkok, THA). Gim won 9-2 against Ling-Yue Hung (Hong Kong, HKG), then won 4-3 against Wang and 8-2 against Alliyarova. Gim won 11-3 against Kathleen Dubberstein (Manilla, PHI), then won 5-0 against Amna Al-Qaet (Doha, QAT) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Asian Winter Games Championship title, Gim earned 11.250 world rankings points. For week 29 of the event schedule, Gim did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 9th place on the World Ranking Standings with 236.250 total points.
