Rajala responded with a 7-5 win over Jack MacFadyen (Cornwall, PEI). Rajala went on to lose 14-2 against Simon Perry (St. John's, NL). Rajala lost 9-4 to Calan MacIsaac (Halifax, NS) where Rajala responded with a 6-5 win over Peter Hlushak (Spruce Grove, AB). Rajala won 11-1 against Harrison Hrynew (New Westminster, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Rajala earned 0.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 35 of the event schedule, Rajala did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
