Nash Sugden (Morden, MB) finished 3-5 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sugden defeated Riley Winters (North Bay, NO) 8-5, then went on to lose 6-3 against Tyler MacTavish (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON). Sugden lost 8-3 to Zach Atherton (Halifax, NS). Sugden lost 9-4 to Dylan Derksen (Saskatoon, SK). Sugden lost 10-4 to Chris Parkinson (Comox Valley, BC) where Sugden responded with a 8-7 win over Pierre-Olivier Roy (Quebec, QC). Sugden went on to lose 6-4 against Zach Davies (Edmonton, AB). Sugden responded with a 7-5 win over Isaiah Dalton (Cornwall, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.

Sugden earned 0.563 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 35 of the event schedule, Sugden did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sugden ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
