Hayward went on to lose 8-5 against Gracelyn Richards (Edmonton, AB). Hayward lost 9-2 to Jolianne Fortin (Quebec, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Hayward earned 1.125 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 150th place overall with 6.376 total points. Hayward ranks 150th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.376 points earned so far this season.
